Hi, I’m Kristina!

Every bowler has a moment they fell in love with bowling. Mine turned into a lifelong passion, and eventually, a whole new chapter.

I’ve always been a creative at heart. For over 31 years, I worked in education, managing and leading government-contracted schools. Even while running operations and leading teams, my favorite part was finding creative ways to make things better for the kids, the staff, and the families we served. If something could be brighter, more fun, or more personal, I was all in.

When I retired, that creative spark didn’t go anywhere. It just found a new home: the bowling center.

Somewhere between the 300 games, the league nights, tournaments, and setting an 822 house record on my birthday, I noticed bowlers love to show who they are, so I took everything I loved about creating and brought it from the classroom to the lanes.

That’s how Crafted By Milam was born. Today I make custom bowling jerseys, shoe covers, embroidered hoodies, and more. You pick the colors, collar style, names, numbers, and logos, and I’ll help you design something that feels like you (or your whole team). Every design is a little creative project, and I love seeing an idea turn into something you’re proud to wear.

I’m also the face behind BowlingThreads, where I share bowlers’ stories and interviews. I end every conversation with the same question: “When did you fall in love with bowling?” The answers never get old. They’re full of family, friendship, and those moments that hooked us for life.
